Kaito is a crypto information platform that uses artificial intelligence to index and search the conversations, research, governance forums and news that move digital asset markets. Its professional product, Kaito Pro, aggregates sources such as social media posts, podcasts and project announcements into a single searchable feed, and the company also offers data through an API. Kaito is often grouped under the label "InfoFi," a category of projects that try to measure and price attention in crypto.
The KAITO token launched in early 2025 alongside an airdrop to users of the platform. For much of its first year the best known product was Yaps, a leaderboard that scored and rewarded accounts for the attention their posts about crypto projects attracted on X. In January 2026, after X changed its developer policy to bar apps that pay users for posting, Kaito said it would shut down Yaps and its incentivized leaderboards and shift toward Kaito Studio, a curated program pairing brands with creators. Its other products, including Kaito Pro, its API and its token launchpad, were not part of that wind-down.
Traders follow KAITO as a gauge of the market's appetite for AI and attention-economy tokens, and because the project's fortunes are closely tied to how social platforms treat crypto content.
KAITO's price is tied closely to the health of its products and to the platforms they depend on. The January 2026 change in X's API policy showed this directly: the token fell sharply when the incentivized posting model that had driven much of its activity was cut off. News about Kaito Studio, Kaito Pro adoption, the launchpad and any new products can shift sentiment.
Token supply matters as well. Scheduled unlocks for the team, investors and ecosystem allocations add tokens to circulation over time and are watched closely. More broadly, KAITO trades with the AI token sector and with general risk appetite in crypto, so moves in Bitcoin and in other AI-themed tokens often carry over to it.
The KAITO perpetual is a futures contract on the price of Kaito with no expiry date. You never own Kaito itself: you go long if you expect the price to rise or short if you expect it to fall, and settle profit and loss in USDT.
You choose your leverage, up to 100x. Margin is cross: your whole perpetual balance backs every open position. Positions are valued at a mark price taken from market data, which can differ from the last trade, and an order more than 20% away from the mark price is rejected.
- 1Connect a wallet. Connect MetaMask, or log in with email or Google, and sign the login message.
- 2Deposit USDT. Deposit USDT and move it to your perpetual account to use as margin.
- 3Choose long or short and your leverage. Open the KAITO market, pick a direction and leverage, and place a market or limit order.
- 4Manage the position. Set a take-profit or stop-loss, add margin, or close the position whenever you like.

Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. If the Kaito price moves against your position far enough that your perpetual balance, including unrealized losses, falls below the maintenance margin, positions are closed automatically at the prevailing price and you can lose your whole balance. A stop-loss becomes a market order when triggered and is not guaranteed to fill at its price. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. KAITO is a relatively young, mid-sized token whose price has reacted sharply to platform and policy news, so it tends to be considerably more volatile than large caps such as Bitcoin or Ether.
Frequently asked questions
A KAITO perpetual is a futures contract on the price of Kaito with no expiry date. You go long if you expect the price to rise or short if you expect it to fall, post margin in USDT, and keep the position open for as long as your margin covers it.
You can trade Kaito perpetuals with up to 100x leverage. The higher the leverage, the smaller the price move against you that liquidates the position.
No. There is no KYC and no sign-up form. You connect a wallet and sign a message to log in — self-custody wallet sign-in, with no password — then deposit USDT to start trading.
Every market settles in USDT, with cross margin: your whole perpetual balance backs all of your open positions, so a profit on one adds margin to the others and a loss on one reduces the margin left for all of them.
A perpetual has no expiry, so a periodic funding payment between longs and shorts keeps its price close to the underlying market. When the perpetual trades above the underlying, longs pay shorts; when it trades below, shorts pay longs.
A maker order, which waits in the order book, pays 0.02% of its value. A taker order, which fills immediately, pays 0.06%.
Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. If the price moves against your position far enough that your margin no longer covers it, the position is liquidated and the margin is lost. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
