Brent Crude Oil is the world's leading benchmark for crude oil prices. It takes its name from the Brent oil field in the North Sea, and today the benchmark reflects a basket of North Sea crudes that has been widened over the years to keep it liquid as older fields declined. A large share of the world's internationally traded oil is priced with reference to Brent, which makes it the main global reference alongside West Texas Intermediate, the US benchmark.
Brent is a light, sweet crude, meaning it has relatively low density and sulfur content, which makes it well suited to refining into gasoline and diesel. Its price is most commonly quoted through Brent crude futures traded on ICE Futures Europe, priced in US dollars per barrel. Producers, refiners, airlines, shippers and governments use these prices to hedge, set contracts and plan budgets.
Brent here is not a crypto token. It is traded as a perpetual contract that tracks the price of Brent crude, giving traders exposure to oil price movements without an expiry date or physical delivery. Traders follow it because oil prices feed directly into inflation, interest rate expectations and the health of the global economy.
Brent responds to the balance between global supply and demand. On the supply side, production decisions by OPEC+, output from the United States and other non-OPEC producers, and sanctions on exporting countries are major forces. Geopolitical events in producing regions, particularly the Middle East and Russia, and threats to shipping routes can add a risk premium quickly.
On the demand side, economic growth, especially in China, the United States and Europe, sets consumption, along with seasonal patterns in driving and heating. Weekly inventory data, the strength of the US dollar, interest rate expectations and longer-term shifts such as the energy transition also shape the price.
The BRENT perpetual is a futures contract on the price of Brent Crude Oil with no expiry date. You never own Brent Crude Oil itself: you go long if you expect the price to rise or short if you expect it to fall, and settle profit and loss in USDT.
You choose your leverage, up to 100x. Margin is cross: your whole perpetual balance backs every open position. Positions are valued at a mark price taken from market data, which can differ from the last trade, and an order more than 20% away from the mark price is rejected.

Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. If the Brent Crude Oil price moves against your position far enough that your perpetual balance, including unrealized losses, falls below the maintenance margin, positions are closed automatically at the prevailing price and you can lose your whole balance. A stop-loss becomes a market order when triggered and is not guaranteed to fill at its price. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Brent is usually less volatile than most crypto assets but can move sharply on supply shocks, geopolitical events and OPEC+ decisions.

No. There is no KYC and no sign-up form. You connect a wallet and sign a message to log in — self-custody wallet sign-in, with no password — then deposit USDT to start trading.
Every market settles in USDT, with cross margin: your whole perpetual balance backs all of your open positions, so a profit on one adds margin to the others and a loss on one reduces the margin left for all of them.
A perpetual has no expiry, so a periodic funding payment between longs and shorts keeps its price close to the underlying market. When the perpetual trades above the underlying, longs pay shorts; when it trades below, shorts pay longs.
A maker order, which waits in the order book, pays 0.02% of its value. A taker order, which fills immediately, pays 0.06%.
Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. If the price moves against your position far enough that your margin no longer covers it, the position is liquidated and the margin is lost. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
